L-3 Communication Systems-West's 6.2 meter tri-band transportable earth terminal is available in two models: a tri-band field terminal-consolidated (TFT-C) and a tri-band SATCOM subsystem (TSS). Each model can be packed and transported on a single, towable trailer; set up in the field; and operated locally or remotely with user-friendly Control, Monitor and Alarm (CMA) software loaded on a laptop PC. Both models incorporate L-3's patented single-point tri-band feed, which allows quick configuration between C-, X- and Ku-bands. The primary differences between the two models are trailer length, towing speed and setup time.
